Policies

Events

Registration

Payment for events is required at the time of registration.

Only 1 member priced ticket (or table) is permitted per individual member and is non-transferrable. Corporate members may purchase for anyone within the organization. If you are unsure of your membership level, please email check the Member Directory or contact info@cnysme.org.

Tickets purchased incorrectly will not be valid.

Event Cancellation by CNY Sales & Marketing Executives (CNYSME)

CNYSME reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If CNYSME cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

If an event is cancelled, it will be posted on the CNYSME website.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an individual ticket is one day (24 hours) prior to the event start time.

The deadline to receive a refund for special events, such as the Crystal Ball / SMEA Banquet is (7) seven business days before the event.

Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.

Cancellations may be submitted via the original site in which the ticket was purchased and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

These above policies apply to all CNYSME events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.

Membership

Member Dues

Member dues are for a period of 12 months from the date of application.

Member dues will automatically be charged annually to the form of payment noted on your account. (Members who joined prior to December 1, 2020 will be invoiced 30 days prior to renewal.)

Any members with unpaid dues after 15 days will be charged non-member rates and will be marked as inactive after 30 days.

New Membership Applications

New members, upon completion of their membership application, will be required to pay their annual dues, based upon the membership tier selected.

Existing Members

Membership with CNYSME can be cancelled at any time during the annual membership period.

If the membership is cancelled, it will be marked as inactive at the end of such membership period.

CNYSME does not refund any portion of the remaining membership dues paid.
